Welcome, Charter School staff and members!
The Kids Cook Real Food course is a video-based course with accompanying curriculum designed
by a former elementary school teacher, Katie Kimball.
This online video course will help children discover and nurture their strengths, learn how to make
recipes independently, without anyone else’s help, and know how to feed themselves healthy
food as they grow into adulthood.
Kids Cook Real Food will build independent chefs and life skills while everyone is having fun in the
kitchen together. The course includes:
- 8 video lessons for each level (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced)
- Curriculum designed to prepare parents for each lesson so their kids get the most learning out of each experience
- Flash Cards that reinforce skills and information taught in the video lessons
- A recipe ebook full of meals and snacks that kids will learn to make
- Shopping and supply lists that make it easy to be prepared for each lesson

Kids Cook Real Food has been used by many homeschoolers and provides curriculum to
charter schools across the nation, and offers charter school families the opportunity to purchase the course using instructional funds.
Get The Course Curriculum With Instructional Funds
As a member of a charter school, you might be able to add our video-based cooking and life skills lessons to your student’s curriculum!
We’re already on the approved vendors list for these schools (possibly found under Kitchen Stewardship, Kids Cook Real Food, or Raising Healthy Families), so just ask your school to send a purchase order to support@raisinghealthyfamilies.com and we’ll take it from there, or if online payment is preferred they can access the order form linked below on this page.

California doesn’t offer any state-wide ESA programs, but we work with many California charter schools to provide our courses to students and their families!

Homeschool Co-Op / Learning Pod / Large Group
If you are part of a homeschool co-op, learning pod, or any group working together on cooking classes, click here for information about group discounts. Please note that the group discount is not available for orders submitted through charter schools – only to independent groups of families working together.
More Details for Educational Facilitators
If you are an educational facilitator with a charter school, and ready to set up your member’s family with access to the course you have two payment options.
Option 1: Pay by Credit Card
Credit card payment is only available for our most popular product offering: a VIP Membership to the Original eCourse.
The most streamlined method of payment for this product will be to pay with a credit card. Click the orange button below then choose whether you would like the student to have online access or have a flash drive that contains all the Kids Cook Real Food course materials mailed to them. Both options are the same price.
Option 2: Submit a Purchase Order
To send a Purchase Order and receive an invoice, you can send your PO to support@raisinghealthyfamilies.com.
Please include this info on your Purchase Order:
- The first and last name of the parent or student,
- The email address of the parent or student (and if student, additionally include a parent’s email in case of technical issues)
- The mailing address for where we should send the flash drive (if choosing the flash drive option – this is not needed on orders for online access only).
- The product name and order amount should indicate which option the student shall have:
- Choose from the list of product offerings below.
Note: Sales tax does not apply to online access, nor does it apply to flash drives unless the billing address is in Michigan.
Within 5 business days after receiving your Purchase Order, we will reply back with confirmation that the purchase order has been processed. We will also notify the student’s family via email.
Within 30 days we will send an invoice for each Purchase Order.

Both options are the same price, $180. Or you can choose to have both online access and a flash drive for $200. Note: If neither a flash drive nor online access is specified, online access will be assigned by default.
