Special Opportunities for Kids to Help

The holidays can be a stressful time — Your to-do list multiplies faster than the cookies disappear, and the last thing on your mind is, “How can I use this time to help my kids build practical skills?”

Why not get a little help? The #LifeSkillsNow Holiday Bundle Mini-Series will let you flip on a quick video, invite an expert to teach your kids or teens a skill that they can practice RIGHT AWAY, and you feel accomplished AND get a little help with that to-do list.

It’s the perfect time of year for your kids to learn:

  • How to wrap a present
  • Speaking politely to the elderly (family parties, success!)
  • How to round and estimate while shopping for gifts for their siblings
  • Party planning and a few recipes that are great for potlucks! (What if you could take “make dish to pass” off your list?!?)
  • DIY gifts like lavender syrup, lip balms, potted herbs, and services like washing a vehicle or bike and even giving a haircut! Includes printable gift certificates for service gifts
  • Super practical skills like packing a suitcase and writing a thank you note
  • Plus our most popular Mini-Series — chores. If you’re hosting company, now is the time to get those kids involved in dusting, sweeping, and doing dishes (even with ADHD, our experts give you the perfect plan!)

Some of these workshops are perfect to put in front of your kids BEFORE the holidays, and others will give them a tiny practical, productive moment in the long mushy time between Christmas and New Year’s.

These workshops are so much better than any YouTube videos we’ve come across. The videos along with the worksheets, resources, & missions are great tools for our neurodivergent household.

Got questions? We’ve got answers:

Each video is approximately 10–15 minutes—just the right amount of time to engage without overwhelming.

Nope! We focus on real-world skills, so most workshops use everyday items from around the house.

#LifeSkillsNow workshops cover a general age range from 5-18. Certain workshops are better for teens or younger kids, but in each Mini-Series most kids ages 8+ can access all the information. Read about each Mini-Series above to see exactly what’s included, as there are some that target teens a bit more heavily and some that include a few workshops for adults as well.

The #LifeSkillsNow Mini-Series are taken exactly from previous Seasons of summer camp, so if you already own one or more, chances are you have some of these workshops already.

Nope! Every Mini-Series is completely unique, and we are making every effort not to reuse any workshops. Each Mini-Series includes workshops from all seasons of #LifeSkillsNow.

No, our terms and conditions require you to use your #LifeSkillsNow Mini-Series login solely for personal use, BUT you can definitely share your login with all your children for their own devices, AND you’re welcome to invite friends over to take the workshops with you at your house. You also have the option of creating child accounts for children in your home with your paid account.

Yes! If we add anything to a Mini-Series as further seasons of #LifeSkillsNow take place, everyone who already owns that series will get any new additions at no cost (even if the price someday goes up)!
