Efficient Kitchen

  • 2:35: The huge organization rule I BREAK and why I think you should too!
  • 3:30: How we keep things kid-friendly, to empower kids to help out in the kitchen with cooking and cleaning up.
  • 4:23: Why our grains and beans are the most organized part of the kitchen
  • 4:41: My brilliant efficiency idea that’s stuck to the fridge

“Mooooom, I’m hungry!!”

How many times do your kids ask for snacks each day? Wouldn’t it be a relief if they were empowered to prepare their own snacks, instead of coming to you and whining about how hungry they are?

Making Guacamole

  • 5:04: Smoothie efficiency (some things we put in smoothies: collagen, dehydrated greens and more from Perfect Supplements, the others I mentioned are from Thrive Market.)
  • 5:27: What’s stuck to the inside of my cupboards (from this post)
  • 6:45: My system for organizing my drawers. (It’s different from most people!)
  • 8:54: Why that darn drawer won’t close (but I’m ok with it – our fav reusable bags)

Kids know where things are, they can get them out and they can put them away, and that’s really important to me. -Katie

Do you love that Leah (10yo) was starting to cook dinner? I was totally getting in her way! 😉

Here’s our resources page where you can find a lot of the items you see (tongs, cast iron griddle, favorite knives).
